Fresh bomb blast has been reported in yobe state which claimed about 29 lives and left 80 people injured. The bomb blast occurred on Monday, November 3, 2014.
It was assumed to be carried out by a suicide bomber near the Fadiya Islamic School in Potiskum during a procession by Shi’ite Muslims to mark Ashura.
The incident has been confirmed by the Yobe State police commissioner, Mr Danladi Markus.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but it is being blamed on terrorist sect and Sunni Muslim group Boko Haram, who are known enemies of the Shias, Pulse News reported.
